Our very own Tax Associate, Sarah Klawiter, is the President of Crash’s Landing. Crash’s Landing is a cat rescue shelter devoted to taking at-risk stray cats off of the streets of the greater Grand Rapids MI area. They then provide the cats with veterinary care and house them in their free-roaming facilities until dedicated, loving permanent homes can be found.
Sarah and her team were looking for something special to do for their 20th anniversary, so they approached 3 Gatos Brewery about having the event there since Gatos means cats in Spanish. Brewery Owners, Linus and Renata De Paoli, came up with the idea to host the event at their brewery! It was a huge success! The owners even said that this event brought in so many people that it was the most packed their brewery had ever been! The brewery donated $2 for every pint sold and asked for donations when customers used credit cards to cash out. 3 Gatos had a tent set up in the parking lot and Crash’s Landing sold raffle tickets to win great prizes! During this incredible event, 3 Gatos Brewery also debuted a craft brewed Dubbel Beer on tap in honor of Crash himself! Not only did Crash’s Landing celebrate their 20th anniversary, but 3 Gatos Brewery gained many new customers, a win-win for both organizations!
