Lance CPA Group is growing! We’re excited to introduce our newest team members! Meet Katie, Kim, and Ashley:
Katie Ong, CPA, Tax Accountant
Katie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Iowa State University, and is a Certified Public Accountant. She lives in the Des Moines, IA area with her husband and two sons. She loves spending time with her family, and in her free time she enjoys working out and drinking lots of coffee (thankfully her husband thinks he’s a barista)! Katie will be working on the tax team as well as with our accounting clients!
Kim Allison, Accountant
Kim attended the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago before realizing she was better with numbers than she was with drawing. She’s worked in accounting now for 10+ years. Kim lives in the Charlotte, NC area with her husband and son. In her free time she loves spending time with her family and French Bulldog. She also LOVES the Chicago Cubs so it’s a good thing tax season ends at the beginning of baseball season or she’d get nothing accomplished! Kim will also be working on the tax team as well as with our accounting clients!
Ashley Michaels, Accountant
Ashley has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Augustana College and has spent most of her career in accounting working for small manufacturing companies. She also co-owns and runs a reclaimed wood furniture business with her parents. She is convinced that the family operation would make a good reality TV show considering the family’s antics! And despite not loving crowds or heat, she is a true Disney World fan and visits there often. Ashley lives in the Chicago area with her son and husband. She will be working with our accounting clients!
