Thriveal CPA Network
Thriveal is the place where current or prospective firm owners are engaged, empowered and encouraged towards disruptive innovations, meaningful education and deeper relationships with their customers. The Thriveal CPA network was born out of a need for community rather than competition within the accounting profession. The main purpose of the Thriveal CPA Network is to support firm owners as they learn how to become better business owners, lead people with courage, experiment in innovations, and change the lives of those they serve.
Illinois CPA Society
The Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS) is a statewide membership organization, with over 23,000 professionals, dedicated to enhancing the value of the CPA profession. Founded in 1903, ICPAS is the fourth largest state CPA society in the nation. ICPAS represents Illinois CPAs in public accounting and consulting, corporate accounting and finance, not-for-profit, government and education organizations as well as affiliate member groups for students, educators, international professionals and related non-CPA finance professionals.
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
The AICPA is the world’s largest member association representing the accounting profession, with nearly 386,000 members in 128 countries and a 125-year heritage of serving the public interest. AICPA members represent many areas of practice, including business and industry, public practice, government, education and consulting. The AICPA sets ethical standards for the profession and U.S. auditing standards for audits of private companies, nonprofit organizations, federal, state and local governments.
Chartered Global Management Accountant
The AICPA and CIMA have joined together to form a joint venture which powers a new designation for management accountants, the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). The CGMA is designed to elevate management accounting and further emphasise its importance for businesses worldwide.
